Prayer Requests

9/5/10  Please pray for Dave Barten.  He his on his way to the Cleveland Clinic.  They are the best at what he needs.  He need’s God’s and the surgeon’s hands to fix his ailing heart and the troubles with his lungs.  They have specialists in this surgery.  Pray for David and everyone that will be helping with his surgery and for his family that God gives them strength & peace.  Pray for all people who are hurting today.  Pray for healing & guidance; give them a willing heart & ear to hear what God is telling them.

9/4/10 Please pray for Sassy Sue’s (Coger) daughter Jennifer.  She is having some major health issues.  They were in the ER all night with Jennifer having very bad pain in her back.  Pray that the doctor finds the reason and they are able to help her.  She is at her wits end.  

9/3/10  Please add Bonnie’s Dad to your prayers.  He has been moved into Hospice care and his kidneys are shutting down.  He is failing fast.  Pray that he goes gracefully and without pain.  Pray for peace Bonnie & her family.

8/30/10  Please pray for Kelly.  He is in the hospital for a drug overdose.  He has a 9 month old baby & a loving wive who need him.  Please pray for recovery.  Pray that he recovers & gets the help he so desperately needs.

8/29/10  Please keep Bonnie’s Dad in your prayers.  He now has C Diff which is a very contagious infection which is bad for him with a weakened immune system.  He is still being fed by a tube.  They are checking into nursing homes to see if he qualifies, but hospice may have to step in.  Please keep her mom on Heavy Duty Prayer; her strength is running thin.

8/27/10 Please pray for baby Ella.  She is having a heart problem.  The doctors are going to run some more teste but please pray that everything comes back negative and that medication is all that she will need.  

Also please pray for Beverly.  She is in the hospital but had a stroke last night.  Please pray for healing & strength for Bev.

8/25/10 Please pray for Chrissy’s dad.  This is Maria & John Braun’s daughter-in-law’s dad.  He was just diagnosed with lymphatic cancer & will be starting chemo immediately.  Pray for him & the family during this battle. 

 Janet Gray is doing better.  She got to the hospital in time but has a long recovery ahead of her.  Please continue to pray for her and her family.

Please pray for Bonnie’s step dad.  He is in Henry Ford Hospital and will not be coming home but staying under hospice care.  He has a host of problems that include congestive heart failure & dementia with alzheimer’s.  Pray that when he goes it will be calm for him and not painful and that her mom will be at peace with it. 

8/24/10  Bill & Diane Gray’s mother Janet Gray had a stroke yesterday.  Pray that she totally recovers from her stroke.   Pray for the family that God gives them the strength & peace to help her get through this. 

8/23/10  Please pray for Beverly who has a lot of health issues.  Pray for healing and that God gives her peace & calmness.

Please pray for Tod & Sherry who are going through some legal issues.  Pray that the situation gets settled without them having to put out a lot of money in legal fees, and that the truth comes out before it goes any further.

8/18/10  We have a few requests.  A family in our church needs HELP.  They need someone to take TEMPORARY custody of their 14 year old son.  They are having some legal battles & do not want their son to go into the system.  If you can help & need to know more, you can contact Pastor Chris. 

Also, please pray for a friend who is having back surgery today.  He is worried about the outcome so please pray for a successful operation, and that God gives him comfort and overwhelming peace. 

8/4/10  Please pray for Mikey (aka The Private)  and Alicia and their marriage.  They are going through some difficult issues & he feels that God has spoken to him and he needs to lay down his vulnerability.  His love for Alicia is stronger than any love he has ever felt.  He has asked God for a gentile spirit.  He asked for understanding so she may see how great his love is for her and that she sees his true heart.  He wants to share his hope in Christ and understanding heart that they might see God’s goodness through actions and continued praise; his faith is moving forward.  He wants to do all of this with his wife by his side.  Pray for them both.  Mark 12:11.

8/3/10  Please pray for a friend of Geri’s in Clearwater, FL.  Her husband was in the Coast Guard, stationed away from her & they were together this past weekend and there was a boat accident and he was killed.  Please pray for healing for the family.  Pray they don’t loose the joy they all had, pray their memories of him will be filled with love & peace.

8/2/10  Please pray for Tina Hart’s brother-in-law.   His name is Rob and he is in the hospital with a pretty bad infection in his leg.  They can’t figure out why he has a fever and they can’t make it come down.   They are also having financial problems and this is taking an extra emotional toll on them all.  Pray for complete healing  physically, financially & mentally.

7/31/10  Please pray for Toni Solomon.  She had her thyroid surgery today but still has recovery to endure.  Please pray for healing and strength for her & her family.

7/30/10  Please pray for Kevin & Lori.  Kevin has been sick since the end of May with bleeding ulcers, issues with his intestines & now another type of ulcer.  Lori was just in a car accident and while she is physically ok, mentally they are both suffering with extensive medical bills and worries over his health.  Please pray for complete healing and for strength and peace for them both. 

7/27/10  Please pray for Alicia’s aunt.  She had a stroke and is having surgery today on 2 blocked arteries.  Pray for her, the doctors & staff, family & friends.  

7/25/10  Please pray for Becky (Brian) Adkins mom.  She is in the hospital.  Don’t know what is going on but pray for healing and for strength for the family. 

7/23/10 Please continue to pray for Billy Flatt.  He is the one below that we are praying for because he is in the hospital.  Well his house burned down last night & he and his brother Scott lost everything.  Please pray for the entire family for peace & understanding as well as healing for Billy.

7/22/10  Please pray for Darlene Snay’s son-in-law.  He had to have bi-pass surgery & there were complications.  Please pray that withGod’s hands, the doctors will find a way to help him through his complications and that he seeks God’s help in that healing.  Also please pray for the family that they have God’s strength & peace.

Please pray for 42 year old Billy Flatt who has been in ICU @ St. John’s Hospital for over a week.  He went in for internal bleeding from drinking and has subsequently had to have another operation to remove over a foot from both his small & large intestine as well as half of his colon.  He is still on a ventilator and cannot yet breath on his own.  He is heavily sedated.  Please pray he pulls through this & stops drinking. 

7/20/10  Just a PRAISE report:  About a year ago we had a request to pray for a couple Michele & Matt who in their late 30’s had be unable to conceive for many year.  Praise be Lord Jesus Christ!   They are expecting a son in August!

7/15/10  Please pray for Joshua Sebastian who is having back surgery tomorrow as the result of a car accident.  Also please pray for Toni Solomon who is having surgery for thyroid cancer.  Pray that all goes well for both.  Pray that God is with the doctors, staff, families & patients. 

7/13/10  Please pray for a friend of Debbie King.  His name is Barry Renze and he is having all kinds of medical problems as the result of a 4 wheeler accident and will be having surgery to place rods in his spine to help him sit upright.  Pray for peace for his family and for complete healing for him.

7/7/10  Please pray for one of Bonnie’s co-workers husband.  His name is Barry and he was in an accident over the weekend where a 4-wheeler flipped & landed on him.  His is currently paralyzed from the waist down and has over 16 open fractures on the front of his body.  They are waiting to do surgery for the swelling to go down.   He is a loving 45 year old father & grandfather.  Please pray for complete healing.  

7/2/10  Please pray for Jeff our guitar player.  He found out he has a form of Leukemia.  Pray that his doctor finds the right treatment for him and pray that God gives him the strength, peace and positive attitude to get through everything. 

6/30/10  Please pray for Chris & Donna Rose.  They are going to have their baby on Friday.  Pray that all goes well and everyone is healthy.  Pray that God is with Donna, the baby and the hospital staff. 

Please pray for my friend Jennifer.  She had a biopsy on Tuesday, please pray that the results come back benign.  Pray that God gives her strength, peace and the will to get through all that she needs to no matter what the outcome. 

Please pray for the Cafe.  We need people with a passion and the will to get things up & going.  If we could all take 1 day out of the week to help with the need to get it going and be the outreach we all want it to be, that would be great! 

/23/10  Please pray for the family of Helin Godin.  She just passed away and her husband Forest of so many years has Alzheimer’s and the family just doesn’t know how to tell him.  Please pray for Forest & his family.

6/22/10  Please pray for Jan who is a friend of Judy.  She just found out she has stage 1 stomach cancer and some cysts on her ovaries.  Pray for healing.

6/16/10    Please pray for Geri’s brother Ed.  He is back on the hospital.  They’ve don another biopsy on his stomach.  He is in terrible pain.  Please pray that the biopsy come back benign and that the doctor can find the cause of his pain and heal him.

Please pray for a friend who has some crazy legal stuff going on today & will be ongoing for a few weeks.  Pray for peace knowing he is in the right & pray that the judge finds in his favor.

Pray for a Bill who is a friend of Brian Baggett’s who has cancer.  He may not have long left, he is in a great deal of pain and his kidneys have shut down so his body is in a septic state.  On top of everything, when the company he works for found out about his condition, he was terminated.

6/14/10  Please pray for Dody;  she threw her back out and anyone with back troubles knows what she is going through.  Pray for recovery & healing and give her calmness & peace and Father please help Dody to relax, stay in & care for herself.

6/12/10  Please pray for Kathy;  she is a member of our church & she had a stroke today.  Please pray for a quick recovery, and please pray for her family that they see that Jesus is in all that is happening. 

6/8/10  We have a few requests:  Sassy’s daughter Jennifer found out she has C.O.P.D. and they also told her she has Pleurisy.   Sassy’s son had an accident at work and needs surgery to put a plate & screws in his wrist.  Kimmie’s dad that we prayed for a couple of weeks ago also, has developed an infection.  Izzy is having a reaction to the meds they put her on to protect the muscle around her weak heart, so they doctor has put another heart monitor  on her todayand taken her off the medsfora couple of weeks.  All of these people need our prayers.  Please pray for answers and total healing for them, that God gives them the strength for theneedsaroundthem.  Please reach out to those who need your love & care Father God and fill their hearts with your spirit.  Thank you God for caring about us in this world that need repair in healing & spirit and in whatever we need fixed in our lives.  May we continue to look up and know that you, our Father, are there and always will be for us.  We thank you & praise you in Jesus’ precious name, Amen.    

6/6/10  Please pray for Deb Ball.  She had a lump removed from her back and one from her tongue.  She has some  other issues that we do not know what they are but  God does.  Pray that he answers her prayers regarding them.     Also, pray for Dale & Deb King.  Deb lost her brother yesterday, please pray for the entire family.  Pray that God will comfort them & give the calmness & peace and that they feel His presence during this troubled time.   Also, please pray for a family who lost their 16 month old grandaughterinaterrible accident.  Help them rely on God’s unfaltering love & power and strength to get them through their loss.       

6/4/10  Izzy had her catheterization and it all went well.  She needs to take medication every day from now on to control the

problem, but it’s all good.  She’s feeling a bit yucky & tired so pray that she did not catch anything while she was at the hospital. 

5/31/10  Please pray for Aileen Compton’s family.  Her step dad Paul Schenkpassed away and the family is having a very difficult time dealing withhisloss.  Pray that soon their happy memories will outweigh their sadness.  Help them to remember where both of their fathers are and give them peace & courage to get through this sad and painful time.    

5/30/10  Hey team.   Dody’s mother is doing MUCH better.  Just wanted to share with you what the Power of Prayer can do!!

5/29/10  Please pray for Mike Bommarito.  He has been in the hospital for a few weeks.  He has had a few surgeries and needs our prayers for healing.  Jeff (guitar player in the Praise Team band) his sister-in-law passed away yesterday suddenly and the family really needs our prayers for getting through this very difficult time.  Father, please help them in these times of trouble.  Give them calmness and help them lift their eyes to You Lord.   Amen.

5/28/10  Dody’s mom’s surgery went well, but she has developed a fever.  Please pray they can get the fever down and any infection is gone.

5/27/10  (Ready?  Here we go)  Please pray for Dody’s mom.  She is going in tomorrow for a hysterectomy and is very nervous she will die because she has other health issues.  Please pray for peace and calmness for her mom, Dody & the rest of the family. 

Praise report.  13 year old Haley is out of the hospital and feeling better.  Thank you for your prayers. 

Please pray for Geri’s niece’s, husband’s cousin Kate who is 21 years old.  She was in a bad car accident and is paralyzed from  the neck down.  Pray that this is only temporary and that she gets all her feeling back soon and God speeds her recovery.

Please pray for Dody’s neighbors Scott & Joyce.  Scott’s mother just passed away.  Please pray that God will give them peace, as they are having a very difficult time with her passing.  Pray that the family understands she is now in God’s arms and He will give her all she needs.   

5/26/10  Please pray for Haley who is 13 years old.  She is in the hospital with strep that went into her lymph nodes and the doctors say it is mimicking an appendicitis attack but she had them out when she was 6 years old. 

Please pray for Izzy.  She will be having a heart cath. next week Wednesday her test results came back withsomeslightchangesand the doctor wants to check things out further with the catheter.

5/24/10  This is a request from Sassy Sue.  Please pray for Kimmie’s Dad Bud who is having open heart surgery today.  Pray for calmness for his family while he’s in surgery and during recovery. 

5/10/10  Please pray for Sassy Sue.  She has been in and out of the hospital with her daughter who still has pneumonia.   On top of that, she is battling kidney stones.  Please pray for complete healing for both of them.

5/5/10  Please pray for Jan Hilewsky’s neices who live in Tennessee and have been affected by the flooding there.

 Please pray for Bonnie’s mom.  She has been in the hospital for a couple of weeks with congestive heart failure.  She is at the time in her life when she wants to go home to be with her Heavenly Father.   Please pray for her that she has no more suffering, and please pray for her family.   

5/3/10  Please pray for Sassy Sue’s daughter Jennifer.  She is on her way back to the hospital with her pneumonia.  She is not getting any better.  Please pray that the doctors will heal her.  Pray for Sassy for strength. 

5/2/10  Please pray for Curt & Jennifer.  Jennifer is a counselor and as a couple they cannot have children on their own.  But, there is a certain little girl and she needs loving parents and Curt & Jennifer are going to try to adopt her.  Please pray that it happens, they all need each other.  Pray that God sees them as a family and He puts His touch in this adoption. 

Pray for Sassy Sue’s daughter Jennifer.  She has pneumonia and needs healing.  Please pray that God wraps his arms around her and heals her.  Sassy’smother-in-law as well as her father are in need of our prayers for healing.  Please Lord help them withtheseillnessesandgive her hubby Rich the strength he will need to help them recover.  We ask these things in Jesus name AMEN.

Please pray for Sassy Sue’s father-in-law as he goes through a battle with cancer, and for her sister’s daughter as she goes through some legal problems.  Please let the right people see she was not at fault and that the truth comes out.  Lord we thank you for letting Pastor Chris come home safely. 

4/26/10  Please pray for Bonnie’s mom.  She is at Henry Ford Hospital because she keeps falling.  She fell this morning and banged er head.  Her dad tried to pick her up and he dropped her and she banged her head again.  (He suffers from alzheimers, dimentia& Parkinson’s)   Her tests came back normal.  Bonnie asks for prayer that her mom will be more compliant with what her doctor says.  ( She doesn’t use her walker or oxygen like she is supposed to) 

 4/26/10  Pastor Chris and his team are on their way to Haiti right in Port-A Prince.  They will be re-building an orphanage.  Than you Father for all the people that are there to help the people of Haiti that they go with such eagerness, knowing that it is what You would want them to do, and that it is the surest path for peace.  Thank you Father for coming to our rescue in all things that we can trust you in dark times.  Lord lead them to someone who needs a friend and needs to see the love of Jesus, and may they not be so busy that they will recognize your leading.  Father, we ask that you keep them all safe as they go to help others find the peace and security they are seeking.  Please shelter them, help them to feel Your presence through all the turmoil.  Thank you Jesus!

4/23/10  Please continue to pray for Tina Hart’s Grandma.  She was rushed back to Mercy Hospital.  They’re not sure what is going on yet.  Pray for her mom as well since this is her mom’s mom and she is not in the best health herself, especially to be helping with her grandma & lifting her etc.

4/13/10  It is with a sad heart that we report that Olivia Laphamhaspassed and is with her Heavenly Father.  She will be at Will & Schwarkoff Funeral Home at 233 North bound Gratiot (586-468-4509) on Thursday from 3-9 and Friday from 11-9 and the service is on Saturday at 11am.  Please pray for her family Dar, Lyle, Faye, Dave and the rest of the bunch.

Please remember Tina’s Grandma Laura in surgery.

4/12/10  Please pray for a friend Pat who was taken to Crittenton Hospital yesterday and is showing lung cancer and congestive heart failure.  She is in ICU now and too weak for surgery at theis time.  This was sudden and devasting to all who know her.

  4/11/10 Please pray for Tina Hart’s Grandma Laura.  She is 87 years old and fell and broke her hip.  She will be having surgery tomorrow.  Pray for the doctor and staff and for Laura to have surgery without any complications and give her the strength she will need for a quick recovery.  Please keep Olivia in your prayers. 

4/10/10  Please pray for Lisa Stade.  She is in a spiritual fight and needs our prayers.  She is facing a pending divorce, loss of job/income since January, bankruptcy, foreclosure on her home, loss of vehicle and the ongoing placement of Riley and Loghan from Protective Services.  She is in need of housing to accomodateher, the boys and 3 dogs in about 6 months as well as looking for a vehicle now for around $2500.  If you can help with either siduation, please contact her.

4/8/10  Please pray for Jan and Gary Hilewsky’s 3 month old grandson Joshua.  He is in Sparrow Hospital in Lansing and will be there for another 10 days.  He is receiving IV antibiotics for Group B Strep.  Pray for his recovery and for peace and patience for his worried family.

Please pray for Dawn.   Her boyfriend Will Olaphant passed away sometime during the night.  Pray for his soul and pray for Dawn, she is just a mess.   May God give her peace to get through this tough time.

4/6/10  Please pray for Hope’s cousin Joey who was in a car accident and broke his leg in 4 places.  He will have surgery to put a rod in.  Pray for his pain and pray for a speedy recovery.

3/30/10   Please pray for Dana Weigand.  He had a heart cath. today and had to have 3 stints put in.  Please pray for a speedy and complete recovery. Pray for his family that God will provide whatever they need to help with his recovery. 

Please pray for a sister in Christ Karen.  She had surgery today to remove cancer from her breast.  Ask God to be with her during surgery and recovery.  Please keep praying for her daily that she may be strengthened through a lifeline of prayer, to give her courage and strength and her usual positive attitude that God is going to help her and heal her. 

3/29/10  Praise God, Jacob Arthur Rummel was born 3/24/10 weighing 8 pounds 12 ounces.  Mom & baby are doing fine.

Please pray for Dale King he had walking pneumonia and needs our prayers.  Debbie is on the mend but still has a long way to go.  They both need our prayers.  Please stop by their store and help a brother & sister in Christ open and running for His Glory.

3/26/10  Please pray for Darlene Snay’smomOlivia.  She was taken to the hospital last night with internal bleeding.  They are running tests on her today.

3/25/10  Please pray for Kristy E.  She has 7 children and just found out she has stage 3 breast cancer.  Pray that the doctor gets all the cancer, and that chemo works to get all the cancer cells.  Please pray for her husband and children.  Its going to be hard on them all.  Pray for total healing and peace and calmness for Kristy and her family. 

3/21/10  Please pray for Dody’s brother Charles who has lumps with severe pain in his arm.  Also pray for her son Tom Collins to see that God is the answer not the problems and for healing of his lung.  Pray for her mom who has problems and needs care and for her father who is still bleeding from his bladder and for her husband Tom who needs blood work to double check his sugar.  Pray for peace and healing in their family.  The stress is starting to cause problems with Stanley’s health. 

3/20/10  Please pray for my neice Terri she is pregnant and the baby is breach. Please pray to God to turn the baby.  Terri realy want’s to ahveanatural birth but that can’t happen if the baby remains upside down.  Pray that everything turns out well for Terri and the baby.    Also, please pray for Debbie  as she will be having surgery and the doctor will be doing debridement on her leg.  Please pray for healing and quick recovery time. 

3/19/10  Wanted to let you all know that Debbie is back in the hospital; doctor didn’t like the way her leg looked.  Pray for healing in her leg and peace and calmness also.  Also, please pray for Margaret and Donald in-laws of Sherry Sellers.  They both need prayer for health issues and healing and  for Gods grace.

3/17/10  Please pray for Nancy’s dad Mr. Mahon; he has lung cancer.  Pray for a young lady her name is Annette and her husband also has cancer.  Pray for healing and pray for emotional uplifting for Annette.  Pray for Dody’s dad.  He’s in the hospital and is bleeding from his bladder and the doctor is looking for the cause.  Pray for her son Tommy who has a spot on his lung and will not go to the doctor because of insurance problems.  Tommy is also struggling, blaming all of this on God.   He needs our prayers to show him that God is his hope in hurtful times.  Please continue to pray for Debbie & Dale.  Debbie for healing and Dale for strength. 

3/15/10  Please continue to pray for Debbie King.  She is still in the hospital  and they have a wound specialist coming to see her tomorrow.  Please continue to pray for her healing.

3/11/10  Please pray for 2-1/2 year old Weston who was born 4 months early.  He had a ton of health problems but is growing like a weed.  They tried to remove his trac 4 months ago but ran into problems.  He is scheduled for very unusual and serious surgery this Monday to do repairs on his throat.  This surgery is not an every day thing and will last 5 + hours and after he will need to be put into a coma for 5 to 7 days.  If this doesn’t work, no one knows what will be.  He has had a bad attitude lately.  Tired of all the poking and prodding.  Pray for this little man, he has some excellent military doctors;  just pray they know their stuff.

Please pray for Denise Gamble who is having surgery today to find, remove and heal a growthinherstomachshe is having surgery today.    Please pray for Dee as she has to have surgery on her shoulder.  Pray for a speedy recovery and strength to get through the physical therapy and help her heal.  Continue to pray for Debbie as she has to stay in the hospital for her cellulitis.

3/10/10  Please pray for Debbie King.  She was taken to the hospital today with Cellulitis and is in a lot of pain.  They are also checking for a blood clot in her leg.   Pray that she does not have a clot and they can cure her cellulitis.  Pray for the doctors and staff that they are able to cure her.  Please pray for her sister Mary who is holding down the fort at the store (Kings Creations) while living withM.S. Pray for strengthandhealingforher as well and knowledge to help her with the customers.

3/1/10  Please pray for the family & children of Sherry Parkinson.  She overdosed this morning leaving behind 2 beautiful children.   She suffered with terrible pain for a long time and could not take it anymore.  Now her family and friends need our prayers to help guide them and her children and help them heal from this terrible loss. 

  Please pray for Bonnie’s friend’s sister Dora who lives in California.  She has 2 daughters, one suffers from lupus (the bad one) and the other from chronic uti’s.  They are both away at college one in Boston and the other in San Fransisco.  Dora is traveling back & forthtoeachoneto visit and help.  Pray for healing and strength for them all.   

2/25/10  Pray for Karen D. as she undergoes Chemo treatment at Karmanostomorrow.  Ask God to be withherandgive her strength at peace.  Pray for all the wonderful people who work at Karmanos and take care of them; and all the others going through cancer.  Pray for recovery for Mike Fahrwhohadfootsurgerytoday.  He should be coming home tomorrow.  Stanley is home recuperating from a bout with Crohn’s& the flu.  Dody is home withthefluand also hurt her back.  Pray for recovery for both of them.  

2/24/10 Please pray for Maria who was in a car accident today.  Pray that she is not injured and pray for calmness for her. 

2/23/10  Kevin had his surgery to unblock his clogged arteries. Please pray for his recovery. 

2/21/10  Please pray for several marriages that are in turmoil right now.  Pray for clarity and strength that God lays it on their hearts to listen to each other and remember the love and happiness they felt the first day they were married; to remember the marriage is work and remember how they felt in the beginning that they would do anything for each other.  Also pray for a young couple stepping out in faith with the purchase of their first home.  Pray that if it is meant to be, it will happen with God’s help.

2/20/10  Hey team, please pray for Dody’s mother-in-law.  She is sick with flu-like symptoms and everything that goes with it.  Pray that it is just a 24 hour bug.  Pray for rest and healing for her.

2/19/10  Pray for my nephew Kevin who was in the ER a couple of days ago with chest pain.  They sent him home because they found nothing wrong.  Well he was rushed back after seeing his doctor at his office; the doctor sent him back to the ER.  Pray that the hospital finds out what is wrong and that they can fix it. 

2/17/10  Pray for a friend who is having a lot of problems.  Without going into them, just pray they are resolved.   He needs prayer for a cleansing for a clear head and for God to soften his heart to get himself back on track.  Pray that God speaks to him and that he hears what he is meant to hear.   

2/16/10  Please pray for Winnie who is having back surgery tomorrow.  She is an elderly lady with many health issues.  Pray that she finds God through all of this and she has a speedy recovery.

2/14/10  Team please pray for our sister-in-Christ Darlene.  She has been going to the doctor for a week now with not feeling well and back pain and the doctor said it was arthritis.  Well now he said she may have had a heart attack.  Well now she is in the hospital so please pray for whatever the cause, they find it and fix it. 

2/11/10  Please pray for a friend for positive healing.  He has soooo many illnesses and his family is asking that we all please pray from 6pm to 7pm tonight.  They have a prayer vigil and hundreds of people praying for him for those positive results. 

Pray for a young man who’s name is Bob Trump and his heart is very weak.  He will be going into surgery within the hour.  Pray for healing that the doctors will find and fix whatever the problem is.  Pray for the family as they wait and give the power and strength and let them know that their Heavenly Father is with them all in their time of need.

 Hey team, please pray for Rhondasfather Al who is very ill land Hospice has been called in to care for him.  Rhonda is on her way back to Michigan to be withherdad.  Pray for Al that he feels no pain, and pray for Rhonda and her family for strength to help get them through this difficult time.

 2/10/10  Please pray for a sister-in-Christ who has a son who is an abusive alcoholic with a terrible addiction.  Pray for her safety, and pray for her son that he finds the help he so desperately needs and he will be lead to his Saviour Jesus Christ.  

Please pray for Pastor Tony Mancina from Salt River Church.  His father passed away on Saturday at the age of 86.  Pray for God’s peace for him and his family.

2/2/10  Hey team, please pray for Bunny who is going to a funeral tomorrow for her sister-in-law and also her best friend has cancer.  Pray for their family tomorrow and for the coming days and weeks for strengthtogetthroughthesesad and very hard times without their loved one.  For her best friend  that her illness be as painless as possible that her treatment will help her with allshewillbe dealing with.  Pray for Bunny, ask God to give her strengthand calmness to be there for her family and withherbestfriendto be the tower of strength she will need.  Pray for Karen DeFereassheseesthedoctor tomorrow, that all results to whatever needs to be done are positive and she feels a calmness and that she knows her Heavenly Father is right there with her holding her close.  Please pray for a friend who is having problems in her marriage.   I’m asking Jesus to soften her heart that he can show her this can and will change if she asks him to save this marriage and that it will take work and reading your word to overcome the problems.  But all is possible…   He Healeth the brokenhearted and bindeth their wounds Psalms 14:3

Please pray foe Jim Who has been in a wheelchair since the 70’s and never complains and says its all God’s plan.  Doctors told him today his condition is very grave.  He has an infection in his intestines and sepsis and air around his liver.  Pray that God heals Jim from whatever is happening to his body.  He always says God will heal him, he can feel it.  Please pray for the doctors and staff that are taking care of him too.  

 1/31/10  Please pray for a friend of Pixie Freeman’s from High School.  Her friend’s husband Mike has a rare spinal cancer.  He has started chemo and are petitioning God that this will kill the cancer so he does not have to endure spinal surgery.  Please pray for the cancer to be cured, and pray for strength and peace for Mike and his family and friends.

1/18/10  We have a prayer request for Sassy Sue, her son Stacy has a brain aneurysm and is seeing a neurologist on the 19th.  Pray that the doctor will do whatever needs to be done a.s.a.p. and that God gives him a strength and peace.  Father we always look to you when we are in difficult situations, knowing that whatever the need, You will in some way always supply it because of Your love for us.  Thank you for never being too busy in those difficult times, as some times I am when it comes to something I should be doing for someone else.  Please be with Sassy Sue and her entire family.  Thank you Jesus!

1/17/10  Hey team, please pray for a mother of 2 named Jackie, who just found out she has breast cancer.  Pray for total healing.  We know it will be a tough fight, but we have all seen what God can do.  Pray for strength for her and for her family as well. 

1/13/10  Please pray for a little 7 year old boy Johnny, who has an inoperable brain tumor.  He needs therapy once a week.  Please pray for him and his entire family for healing for him, and strength and special peace for his family.   We thank you Father for little Johnny, and ask you to be with him through all of his therapy.  With the grace of God we ask that you protect him through his journey… accept the praises of our hearts.

1/7/10  Please pray for Sherry Sellers new grandson Brendan.  He was born 5 weeks premature and is still in the hospital.  He has some breathing issues and is on a ventilator.  He had a “spell” last night and also has some sort of infection.  Pray for strength for this baby in his healing and pray for Dan and Jocelyn for strength to deal with his medical issues. 

1/6/10  Jennifer (Sassy Sue’s daughter) had her surgery and all went well and she is doing ok.  Pray for her recovery.  Geri’s cousin Bruce is doing better from his stroke.  Please pray for his rehab and total recovery from the stroke.  Her brother Ed is in a lot of pain lately.  Pray for it to leave him and give him some rest.  He is going to the doctor on the 20th.  Please pray there is nothing there andthepain is gone.  Ed would like prayer for his friend Tony who is going to be 99 years old in a couple of days.  Please pray for his healththat he will still be aroundto 100.  Pray for a friendJimwhohasbeeninthehospital for a while now with a number of health problems.  Ask God to heal him andgive him strength and calmness as he is getting restless in his rehabilitation.   

1/5/10  Please pray for Melissa Mayle, she has a serious kidney infection.  They are checking for stones but the doctor foundthathercolonisenlarged which she does not need with her Crohn’s, Colitis and Lupus.  She is very frustrated andinalotofpain.  She is fighting with the state to keep her Medicaid and she can’t pay for her meds, office visits or even her injections so she really needs that insurance.  Pray that God will work all of that out and she can get the health care she needs.  Pray for her pain and infections to be healed and paper work fixed.  God shine down on Melissa, and lift her pain and spirit. 

Please pray for Stanley.  He is home  from the hospital and still in pain but with medication and a diet to follow he should overcome all that.  Pray that he finds the will to follow this diet and eat healthy.  Pray for help and support from his family.   

1/3/10  Please pray for Linda Menzel andhersonBilly(42) who is in St. John’s in Detroit with an overdose.  He is also an alcoholic who has “wet brain” that is slowly killing him.  Please pray for Billy that he sees that this is not good for him and that he needs Gods help in recovery.    

  Stanley is back in the hospital.  Pray for a speedy recovery and for mom & dad too.  Izzy fell down the stairs and sprained her ankle and twisted her back.  Pray that it is nothing serious and the pain lessens and it is nothing permanent.  Pray for family friends who lost their mother & Nanna.  This is the first close family death they are facing and it is very difficult for all of them and they were very close to her.   Pray for her soul and that God will give them peace andcalmnessthat she is with her Heavenly Father andthatHegives them strength and grace to get through this very difficult time.

1/1/10 Please pray for Sassy Sue’s daughter Jennifer who is having a hysterectomy on Wednesday.  She has been in pan for a long time and can’t wait for this to be done.  Pray for calmness and peace and God’s loving hands to help the doctor and staff and for a speedy, restful recovery. 

 Please pray for the Miller family, the whole family including a little one are all battling the flu bug.  Pray for a speedy recovery.

12/26/09  It is with great sadness that I write that Diane Gray’s grandmother passed away last night.  Please keep the entire family in your prayers.

12/25/09  Team, please pray for Diane’s grandmother, her doctor says she only has a few more hours on earth.  Pray for Diane and her family for courage and strength to get through this hard time to say goodbye to their beloved grandmother.  May grace and mercy be with her. 

12/23/09  Please pray for Bonnie’s friend Colleen.  She lost her fiance, sister and her dad within the last 3 years.  Now her daughter Chelsea (who is only 23) may be facing the same disease; systemic lupus.  It is hereditary and it attacks the heart, lungs and liver.  She goes for testing on the 28th of December.  Pray that the tests come back normal even though the “ana” testing came back high.  That is a test that can mean anything other than lupus.  

12/21/09  Hey team, please pray for Diane Gray’s grandmother who went into the hospital with congestive heart failure.  They have removed her IV’s and the doctor says her body is shutting down and it is only a matter of time now.  She has quite a large family andtheywillallbe in need of strength and to feel God’s love in this time.  Keep them close to you in prayer and her grandmother even closer.  Also pray for Tom Tilton’s mother.  She is also having health problems but her’sare with her memory.  Pray that this is only a temporary thing, and she is back to herself very soon.  Pray for Debbie and Dale as they struggle to keep their business going.  Pray for Stanley and his salvation that he comes to see Jesus the true reason for this season.  Please pray for my cousin Bruce who had a stroke a few days ago.  He has show slight improvement, but please pray for complete recovery.  

12/16/09  Well, Deb Shaw’s Grandmother did well through her surgery. She  received a  pacemaker,and Dr.s have restored her hip she is doing ok at last  I talked to Deb,but plzkeep praying for her for healing and strength. Prayer for the for family for peace and a calmness during her recovery time.

12/15/09  Deb Shaw’s grandmother’s surgery has been delayed until the 16th.  She is in really bad pain and they have her on drugs to try to keep her comfortable.  Her hip is severely broken so surgery is a must even at 101 years old.  Pray for the family as they are a wreck as how to help their grandmother.  They don’t want to see her go through surgery at her age, but but the doctor said she must.  Lord be with this family and the doctors and hospital staff.  Give this family the peace and strength they will need for the next few days. 

 PRAISE REPORT!  Sherry Seller’s new grandson was born Saturday night weighing 3pounds 14 ounces and 16 inches long.  He was taken off oxygen already.  Jocelyn came home yesterday.  Please keep praying for them both. 

Jan and Gary Hilewsky are also new grandparents.  Joshua Alexander Hilewsky was born 12/11/09 at 7:25 pm weighing 6pounds 14ounces and was 20 inches long.   

12/14/09  Deb Shaw’s aunt who is almost 101 years old will be having surgery tomorrow on her hip and has blockages in her heart.  Pray that all goes well and she is free of pain.  Surgery is scary enough but at her age I’m sure she is very scared.  Pray for healing and calmness for her and for the doctor and staff.  Isaiah 41:10

12/11/09  Sue’s foot is doing better but pain is getting through it. Pray that is is finally what she needs for total healing.  Deb’s grandnephew is doing good.  Still waiting on time to tell how well he is healing.   Pray for a couple in our church who need to know how much we love them & miss them.  That love is not a sign of weakness or that we would judge them; we open our arms & say been there, done that.   Pray that we see them in church on Sunday.

 Please pray for Sherry Seller’s daughter-in-law.  She is expecting a baby in January, but her protein levels are very high and she is a diabetic.  She will be staying at Beaumont hospital until the baby is born.  Pray for her son David who suffers from depression and her mother-in-law who has dementia.

12/10/09  Hey Team, Sassy Sue (Coger) is having what is hopefully the last surgery on her foot today.  Please pray that her doctor is able to correct the problem andthepain with the cysts that keep popping up.   Also, please pray for Blake who is having a procedure on his heart today.  Please pray for him, his family and the hospital staff.

12/9/09 Just after Shop With a Cop at the Chesterfield Walmart, Chesterfield Police Officer Brandon andhisfamilywere hit from behind in their vehicle on 23 Mile & Gratiot.  They were all kept for observation, he suffered a head and back injury but nothing life threatening or permanent.  Everyone else is ok.  Praise Jesus!

12/3/09 Team pray for Bonnie.  She has some moles that will be removed and biopsied on the 29th.  Pray for a positive outcome and peace for Bonnie.

 11/23/09  Please pray for little Elizabeth Rose who is having tubes put in her ears this morning to stop the aches.  Pray for calmness for her family, and for the doctor and staff during surgery. 

11/22/09  Please pray for Jan and Chris and their family as Jan’s stepfather Jerry suddenly became ill 2 weeks ago and is very, very sick.  Pray for Jerry these last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind with this illness coming on so fast and strong.  Lord Jesus, please strengthen them through this lifeline of prayer and abundance of love that we all feel for them.  Please give Jan the strength and courage she will need and let her know she is not alone in this trying time.   

11/21/09  Just received a call from Gina and Mike Brown who attended North Shore but moved away a couple of years ago.  After caring for her father on his death bed for 7 days, he passed away Wednesday morning at 4:30am.  Virgil Salmons 61 years old has lost his battle with cancer after 2-1/2 years.  Gina is in need of strength and uplifting after having gone through this and has yet to go through the funeral and for Virgil’s wife Shari. 

11/17/09  Please pray for Dano’smother Violet who was rushed from her nursing home to Henry Ford Macombon11/15.  She had partial kidney failure as well as previous stroke withafracturedrightarm, 2 blood clots; one which is in her jugular.  She also lives with Parkinsons disease.  She is a very frail senior who needs our prayers.  Pray also for Dano as he supports his mother.  Pray for healing and peace for all. 

11/11/09  Pray for Mary, she has cancer and her doctors do not give her much hope but she knows who her Great Healer is and she is fighting.  Glenn also has cancer and is hoping for better news this week from his doctor.  My cousin Bill also has cancer and is praying this week to get into a clinical study.  Please pray that his PSA is the same and that he does not have to go through chemo.  Also, my brother Ed has to go back to the specialist who did his lung cancer surgery.  His doctor told him yesterday that there is more activity going on in the same lung; what he has left of it.  Please pray that it is something like scar tissue.  Cancer is running rampant.  Please pray for all these people going through this terrible, ugly disease.  Pray that God gives them all calmness and peace while going through this. 

11/8/09  Team, please pray for Erin and Jeremy.  Jeremy’s mom is living with them.  She is an alcoholic, bi-polar and a non-believer.  Pray for all of them; Erin for strength and peace, Jeremy that he can lean on the Lord to help him through this because he’s having a hard time with forgiveness and compassion toward his mom.  Pray for God’s light to shine on them and that Jeremy will see that he needs to be the one to set an example for his mother if he wants her to get well and find Jesus. 

Pray for David, he is in jail.  Pray that God’s light shines on him and he finds the way that God is trying to show him.   

Pray for a friend who is having a very difficult time with her marriage.  She is going through a divorce and she needs strength and courage to help her find the answers she is looking for.  Lord give her patience and a strong will to see just how beautiful and wonderfully kind she is.  Lord, help all hurting people today. 

11/6/09  Please pray for our team returning from Georgia today.  Pray for a safe trip home.

Team, please pray for Stacey.  She suffers from depression and tried to take her own life.  She is in the hospital getting help now, but please pray they will be able to help after she goes home.  She has a baby girl named Olivia so please pray that Stacey realizes how much her daughter needs her here. 

 10/30/09  Please pray for 3 day old LoghanJameswhoisstillin the hospital because he’s having the shakes as if he’s withdrawing from something but there are no drugs in his system.  They are still running test to find out what is wrong.  He’s also had bouts of projectile vomiting andpooping.  Please pray they are able to discover what is wrong withhimand cure him.  Also Protective Services will make a determination to remove him from his mother andplace him with Lisa as his older brother Riley already has been.  Please pray that her house passes for Foster Care Certification as requested by DHS for their placement which would give her much needed financial assistance.

10/29/09  Please pray for 8 year old Karlie Nikkel.  She has the Swine Flu (H1N1).  Pray that God calms her fears and pray for a speedy recovery, and that the rest of the family doesn’t get it as well. 

10/29/09  Please pray for Kristy, her father and her family.  He is in Hospice care at home and they have given him a couple of weeks.  He is in a lot of pain, and Kristy is asking us to pray that the Lord take him sooner if it is his will. 

10/28/09  Pray for Colleen, her dad passed away yesterday and she needs prayer to get through this very difficult time.  Pray that God gives her peace and strength to move forward. 

Also pray for a friend who is having breast cancer surgery today.  Pray for the doctor and staff, that God will guide them.

My brother Ed is going through radiation for prostate cancer and was told yesterday that a spot was found on his good lung.  Please pray that it turns out to be scar tissue or something NOT cancer.   Please pray for his depression also, he is getting tired.

 10/27/09 Please continue to pray for Bonnie’s friend Colleen who’s dad in Florida is now in Hospice care.  They know it is only a very short time before he will be gone.  Pray for peace and comfort for them all especially afterward in completing the final doings and papers required.

10/26/09  Team please pray for Darlene & Steve Baker.  Steve had been fighting a battle with congestive heart failure for the past 6 months and finally was too weak to keep fighting.  Please keep his whole family in your prayers.

10/21/09  Toni Solomon’s grandchildren in California have the Swine Flu.  Pray for a speedy recovery for both of them. 

 10/20/09  Please pray for Bonnie’s friend Colleen.  She just arrived in Florida to find her father is in a critical state.  The Hospice team just showed up with a bed for him.  She has been flying down there at least 3 times a month, whenever she has time off from work.  He has been in a critical state for a long time but now it seems his time is coming to an end.  In the last year she has lost her fiance and her sister and there is not much more she can handle without going off the deep end.     

10/15/09  Team, many things to take to the King…

Young David’s family is really struggling with his loss.  They also have lots of things that have to happen in order to get his body home for the funeral. 

Young Chris Compton was having some heart procedures, and some problems arose with the anesthesia - his breathing and heart rate.  His procedure on Monday has been postponed - so Mom and Dad have a month to be nervous. 

We also have 2 families working through life with an addicted member.  This can be so tough to deal with and proceed with day to day life.  Wisdom, pray for wisdom for these families. 

Also prayer team, I hope you are praying for your homework from Sunday.  Simply praying this prayer:

10/12/09  Hey Team, Dody’s nephew David is really in a mess.  The doctors can do nothing more and is now on life support.  The family is really beat up.  Pray for grace and mercy for all powerful God to do His will.

10/7/09  Hey team, Dody called and David’s doctors have a new drug that may help him.  It is not approved though and is a risk.  Pray that the drug is just what David needs.  If this is what is meant to be, trust in Him and it shall be brought to pass. 

10/6/09  Please pray for Bonnie’s step-dad Nick who has Parkinsons and Alzheimers.  He just took his 1pm meds, his wifes 3pm meds and his 3pm meds.  His heart rate is very low andhehaslostallreality of what is going on around him.  His family all knows it won’t be long for him.  Pray for comfort and painlessness.  Pray for his family for peace andstrength through this time.     

10/5/09  Please pray for Deb’s grandson Mathius.  A car backed over him, he has a skull fracture and spinal fluid leaking out of his ear.  Please pray that God heals him and there is no permanent damage.  Pray for his mom & dad Matthew and Christina that they see Jesus and that they have peace and strength while their son heals from his accident. 

Please remember to keep David in your prayers he is still struggling.  His lungs are filling up and the doctors have given him 2 days left to live.  Pray for his family as well as they have been in a struggle watching him go through this terrible disease. 

10/4/09  Please continue to pray for the 15 year old boy who was hit by a car last week while walking to school.  He has had his jaw rebuilt, plates in his femur but the really bad thing is his brain has been bruised in over 10 places.  Please pray for this boy daily for healing and for peace and calmness for his family who is hurting for him. 

10/3/09  Just got a call from Jackie & George - David that we’ve been praying for in Texas is near the end.  The doctors have exhausted their treatments and the family as you can well understand, is a mess.  Pray for the complete situation.

10/2/09  Hey team please pray for Andrea’s sister Heather.  She just found out she has cancer and she’ll be starting chemo in 2 weeks.  Please pray for healing and that she can keep a positive attitude through her treatment.  Pray for her family to give them strength to help her with all she’ll be going through.

George Compton is having back surgery and his son Chris is having open heart surgery both on the same day October 14th  Dar & Lyle’s Grandson Justin is having Heart Valve  surgery, Rick Elder A Clay Twp. fire fighter fell and is home bound and is having a very hard time ,the care is very hard for him and his caregivers,Stress and all that goes with it. My brother Ed has Prostate Cancerand is going through 2 months of Radiation, Rose Marie had her open heart surgery and doing good….. Please pray for all of them for HEALING and STRENGTH andthattheyallfeel God’s presence with all of there surgery andtreatments…. Help them to walk with COURAGE…  ISAIAH 40:29    He giveth power to the faint,andtothemthathave no might he increases their strength…..Please pray for Mike and Alicia that have just moved to Fla. that they have everything that they need and that God lifts them up and that their journey is what they need. 

 Also, pray for Sherry Sellers’ son Dan.  His wife’s (Jocelyn) brother Jeff was just found dead.  He was a diabetic and missed his dialysis appointment.   She is pregnant and also a diabetic so this has been a high risk pregnancy.  Dan is out of a job and has been interviewing but no luck yet.  Jeff lived in San Francisco and was Jocelyn’s only living relative (both parents gone)

9/25/09  Please pray for Geri’s sister in law Carol.  Her sister Nancy is in the hospital with some heart problems.  The doctors are running some tests to determine what is causing the problems.  Pray that all goes well and that she will not need surgery.  Pray for peace and strength to get through all her testing. 

9/24/09   Please pray for a young man named Tyler Wesley who was hit by a car.  Pray for healing and for peace for him and his family.  Pray also for the person who hit him for peace.

9/24/09  Please pray for George Compton.  They were getting him ready for back surgery andfound a problem and now have to do a heart catheterisation.  Pray that the doctors find the cause not to be a problem.  Pray for a quick recovery. 

9/21/09 Please pray for Dody’s nephew David.  They have moved him to ICU and he is on life support.  Pray that God touches him and the doctors for healing that he so desperately needs.  We know who’s hands can do the most good for him.

Please keep Paul & Carol Weber in your prayers.  Their son returns this week.  Pray that the boot camp did him good and that he found Jesus in all his time away.  Pray that he has new strength and a new-found way of living his life;  that his life will reflect joy and that God keeps his vision clear and on the right path. 

Please pray for little Annie Damaska.  She is 6 months old and has a very large brain tumor.  She is in UofM hospital.  Annie and her family are members of NorthBranchChurch.  The doctors are working to stabilize her condition.  While surgery is an option, there are very high risks that have surgeons concerned.  There will be a meeting today with the doctors and the family to decide what to do.  They are surrounded by family, but please pray that the doctors and the family are able to make the right decisions for little Annie.  We know she is in God’s loving arms and He alone knows what is best for her.  We need to trust in Him to heal her if that is His will.   

 

Praise:  Nancy B’s, Mom’s boyfriend is doing better & won’t be needing the feeding tube and is on his way to recovery.  John Braun’smomisdoingbetter.  Her doctor found the source of her pain it was a blood clot and she is on the mend too. 

Please keep Dody’s nephew David in your prayers.  He is not doing well.  Pray for healing of his cancer. 

We have a church family opening a new business in Chesterfield at 23 & Gratiot next to Cold Stone Creamery.  I’m told it’s a Christian Bookstore.  Please stop in and make a purchase to support Dale & Debbie King. 

 9/13/09  Please pray for Nancy B’s mom’s boyfriend had surgery on his hip on Wednesday and is not coming out of the anesthesia and is struggling.  Pray that he comes out and has a speedy time recovering from his surgery.

John Braun’smomisinthe hospital with unknown pain in her left leg.  Pray that her doctor can locate the problem and cure her. 

Stanley’s liver pain and high enzymes were found to be fat in his liver.  Pray for him to manage his diet better and for help from his family & friends to do this.  Pray for strength to resist temptation. 

Pray for Stephanie, she’s having difficult times in her marriage.  Her husband is harassing her andshehasbeen struggling with his behavior for 3 years and she just wants peace andwhatisrightto turn herself around.

 

Please pray for Dody’s nephew David.  His cancer is back and he is taking chemo again.  They have him on a new kind and they are sure they can beat the cancer.  David is still upbeat and has faith in God that he will beat the cancer as well. 

9/12/09  Please pray for a friend who is going through a divorce.  Her husband is playing all kinds of mind games and making her out to be the bad person in all this mess.  Please pray that she will be treated fairly and that God will give her calmness and strength to get through this difficult time.  Please pray for her health as she is having some serious issues with that as well as her job.     

9/10/09  Please pray for Dody’s nephew David in Texas who does have cancer in his bone marrow again.  God healed him once, we all know He can heal him again.  Stanley will be having tests on his liver as his enzymes are up again.  Pray that it is nothing serious and that they come back normal from pathology. 

9/5/09  Please pray for Samuel Gordon Bish.  He is an 8 year old boy (9 in January) who in the course of 6 days was diagnosed with and began treatment for an agressive cancer called Osteosarcoma and it is stage 4 andhasalreadyspreadto his lungs from his right knee.  Please lift him up in prayer that if it is God’s will he be completely healed.  Pray for strength for him andhisfamilyas they deal with this sudden and devastating ordeal. 

Please pray for Dan who has been out of work and is going in a 2nd interview with a big company.  Pray that they see what an asset he can be to them.  His wife Jocelyn is pregnant and having health problems with that.  Pray they Dan gets his job, and Jocelyn’s health improves so she can concentrate on being a mom. 

Please continue to pray for Bonnie.  She has 3 bulging discs and an extended vertebrae.  Her doctor wants to perform a needle therapy or even surgery.  Please pray that physical therapy will solve the issues. 

 

9/4/09  Please pray for Sheila’s brother-in-law who is in the hospital with ruptured hurnias and the surgery did not go as well as they had hoped.  He has a son who is not handling it very well.  Please pray for peace and understaning for all of them and pray for recovery as well. 

9/3/09  Please keep Lisa’s mom in your prayers as she will be going through testing this week.  Doctors found a spot and it is cancer but they say its curable.  Pray that she knows that smoking is what brought on this horrible disease and that she finds Jesus and sees that He is the only way to get through this.  Help her to see that He is right therwith her andallsheneedsto do is ask Him to come into her heart.  May He give her strength and a special peace that only He can give. 

8/31/09  Please pray for Bonnie’s friend Colleen.  Her dad Frank McKeever has COPD and is not doing well.  Pray for his comfort andwhatever is needed at this time.  Pray that the people Colleen works for will understandthat she may need to leave at a moment’s notice to get to her dad understand and allow her that option.

Please pray for a 17 year old girl having a baby.  Pray that she makes the best decision for her and the child.  Pray that if it is God’s will, a couple battling infertility will be blessed with this baby. 

Please pray for a neighbor of Maria Braun’s named Cindy.  She was rushed to the hospital hemorrhaging andthey found a mass on her bladder and kidney.  Pray that the doctors are able to figure out exactly what is going on and what they need to do about it.  Pray that God’s will be done.

 

8/27/09  Please pray for Leslie a mother of 4 who is unemployed.  She has some interviews lined up so please pray that something comes through for her. 

Pray for Shane who has put himself into rehab.  Pray that he completes and stays clean through his rough road ahead. 

Praise also for Mirinda.  She had surgery yesterday for a torn aorta anddoctorsare happy with the outcome.  Please keep her in your prayers.

Please continue to pray for Karen Morrison (see below).  The visit with the neurosurgeon revealed that they do not believe her problems are from the tumor which is too small & stable to be causing the problems she is having.    They are the result of something medical but they have not yet figured out what.  Pray they are able to find the problem and solve it. 

 

8/26/09 Please pray for Faye W.  She is having surgery on Wednesday for her Parathyroid disease.  We have all witnessed the power of prayer and we need to pray for complete healing from this disease, to give Faye strength and to guide the doctors hands during surgery.

8/25/09 Please pray for Paul Koch’s sister Julie Marie who has cancer.  It has spread to other areas of her body in which her doctor’s say chemo may not work.  We are children of the GREAT physician and we know and have seen Him work miracles.  So Father we are asking you to work your miracle in Julie Marie.  In your precious name Amen. 

Team, please pray for Geri’s cousin Bill in Pittsburg who has had bad news from his doctor about his PSA numbers that are on the rise despite being on medication and taking other action to lower them.  His doctor has suggested he see an oncologist.  Pray that the doctors can work together if need be to rid him of the cancer.

Please pray for Karen Morrison.  The tumor she had back in 1981 is back and is growing fast and is not in a good place.  Neurologists are not optomistic andwillbereviewinghercaseearlytomorrow morning.  Pray hard that they will find it to be operable and will be able to plan and do the operation. 

8/20/09  Please pray for Sherry’s daughter-in-law Joselyn who is having a complicated pregnancy and needs all our prayers.  Also pray for Hanna; a young lady who is really having a difficult time emotionally & physically.  She needs prayers that she seeks God and looks to Jesus for control and the help she needs. 

Pray for Sue Long.  Her cancer has returned and is going through chemo for the second time. 

8/19/09  Please pray for Bonnie.  The results from an mri show that she has 3 bulging discs which are squeezing some of her nerve endings therefore she has numbness in her legs.  Pray the doctor can prescribe the proper treatment for a speedy recovery.

8/18/09  Please pray for Lisa Stade’s mom Denise.  She had a heart attack on yesterday andis scheduled for surgery today for angioplasty to findwheretheblockage is & repair it witha stint.  They have also foundamassonher lungs.  Obviously prayer for her recovery is important but so is prayer for her faith.  Lisa says she doesn’t know the love of Jesus.  Pray for her recovery, and that Denise hears andaccepts knowing that Jesus is her great physician andtheonlyone that can truly heal her.  Help to keep her vision clear, to fill her with peace and love for Him; a refuge in times of trouble. 

8/15/09  Please pray for Linda Kersten’s family.  Ethan Mroz 13 years old andhis grandfather were out fishing in norther Michigan andsomehow they both drowned.  Don’t know the details of how it all happened yet, please just pray for peace and understanding for this entire family; what a tragedy.  Please pray for Geri who is home trying to pass kidney stones!!

 

8/7/09  Please pray for Linda Menzel’s son Billy who is going to be 42 and is dying of what is called “wet brain” from drinking.  She says its “from years of drinking beer and your brain turns to mush”.  He is very bad off and only sheer will to live and prayers are keeping him alive.  He looks like he’s 80 instead of 42 and can hardly walk or do daily things.  He’s loosing all his bodily functions and in a really bad place.  He is refusing help and will n0t go to the hospital.  All she can do is pray andherheartisbreaking.  Please pray for both of them.

8/4/09 Please pray for the Lemmer family.  (Gail and Dave) Dave’s X-wife and grandchildren were in a fire.  Their grandmother died at 48 years old.  The kids have burns but are in stable condition.  Please pray for this family trying to deal with death and console the children dealing with such a terrible and painful condition.  I will try to keep you updated on their progress.

Also, please pray for Karey a friend of Bonnie’s from work.  She is suffering from severe back pain and will be off work for 3 months.   Aside from praying for her healing from pain, she needs our prayers to keep her job open until she returns.  She’s afraid she may loose her position.  So pray for her back and for her job to be secure until her return. 

Also, keep Greg in your prayers.  Nice to see him on Sunday, but also hard because he is such a go-getter it’s hard to see his pain.  Pray for a quick and speedy recovery.   

 

7/25/09  Please pray for Bill Hall.  His father passed away quietly in his sleep Wednesday night.

7/22/09  Pray for Brenda Conrad.  Her daughter’s house was broken into on Tuesday and has 27 stitches on her head and some more elsewhere on her body. She had mentioned that  her daughter’s boyfriend or his friend had killed the intruder and supposedly Michigan does not have a self defense law so her daughter is being held as an accessory to the death of this other man.  On top of this Brenda’s husband went to Alaska to get a job only to get there and find out the job was already taken.  We all know God knows what is going on and she and her family need our prayers. 

 Please pray for Bonnie’s 15 year old grandson Dalton who lives in NorthCarolina.  He has been shot in the head with a pellet gun.  She took him to the ER and they said they see this all the time and it will be ok for the pellet to stay where it is.   Bonnie did some research anda friendwhoworksin the ER @ Beaumont said her daughter should get a second opinion and possibly see a plastic surgeon.  The bottom line is, when the swelling goes down, he should have it removed.  Pray for guidance in this situation and healing. 

 

7/21/09   Please pray for Sherry Kuhn’s son Mark.  He was admitted into the hospital with severe abdominal pains.  They have run all kinds of test but no answer yet.  Mark has no health insurance and has been out of work for about 10 months now.  Please pray for a speedy recovery and assistance in paying his bill. 

 

 This request comes from Dody, her nephew David will be getting out of the hospital but he needs to stay close to the hospital.  The church hotel is full right now, can we all pray for an opening for David as he needs to be able to get into the church hotel  to be released. 

Team, Please pray for Lisa Stade.  This is the request per her e-mail:    “There is an unexpected hearing tomorrow where the CPS is attempting to remove Riley from his mother’s care to place him in the foster care system.  They have expressed the desire to have us agree to be certified for Foster Care so he can be placed in our home.  Since Riley has been raised in our home for about 75% of his life, this would be the best option.  His mother has not improved under the supervision of the CPS essentially since November.  She may have more strict guidelines this way, but if she doesn’t improve over the next year, they will petition to have her parental rights terminated.  So we need to pray that we can make this foster care option doable, so Riley can remain in the family.  And for those of you that don’t know, Riley’s mother is pregnant again, due in November. ”

7/19/09 Team, please continue to pray for Greg N.  as he is still in a lot of pain.  Doctors put pins in his ankle and he is hurting.  Please pray that his pain stops and he has a fast healing process.

7/12/09  Team, pray for Greg Nikkel.   He broke his ankle in 3 places on Friday and will be having surgery this coming Friday to put pins in.  Pray for a skilled, gentle surgeon and a quick, low-pain recovery. 

 

Team, pray for little Kadia who is 18 months old and has a rash that won’t go away anddoctors are puzzled.  Pray for her parents Ken andhis wife.  He has been out of work for over a year andcannotfinda job andwith this happening to their daughter the stress is putting a strain on their marraige.  Pray for a job for Ken andstrength for their marraige.  

Also pray for Sherry.  She has a new restaurant and is struggling financially.  Pray for God to show her what He wants her to do in this situation. 

 

7/11/09  Hey team, we need to continue to pray for Michelle and Dan, the couple who is trying to have a baby.  If they don’t conceive soon, they will start adoption.  Pray that whatever God has in His plan for them will be known soon.   

Hey team, please continue to pray for Gladys (Bonnie’s mom) Jennifer with Hodgkin’s, and Chris Rose’s mother-in-law with the broken hip.  God is Great!  Both Izzy’s and Ed’s biopsies came back benign.  They discovered that Ed has pain because he has 2 hernias.  They won’t operate until he gains some weight.  Will keep you posted. 

7/6/09  Hey team, please pray for Chris Roses mother-in-law.  She broke her hip today.  She lives by herself in Lexington.  Pray that all goes well with healing and that the distance between them will not become an issue in her care. 

7/5/09  Team, please pray for a friend Lisa who has a lump on her thyroid and is having a biopsy.  Pray that is nothing and whatever it is is benign. 

7/3/09  Pray for my brother Ed who is in the hospital and the doctor cannot find the cause of his stomach pain.  Pray that they can find and fix the cause.  Izzy had another biopsy, pray that it comes back negative.  Marie had her esophagus stretched because she was having bad heartburn and things went well.  Pray that it fixes her heartburn problem for good.  

Hey team, please pray for Marie VanHemel.  She had surgery yesterday.  Pray that all went well, andthat God gives her strength and fast and complete healing.   

 7/1/09 Team, this request comes from Christopher Pieriktopray for his brotherMarcel.  Today he found out he is not responding to the most recent chemo treatments and is continuing to loose weight.  He has been sick from the treatments andcannotkeep food down which is contributing to the weight loss.  The doctor is going to try anotherkindofchemonext week.  He has been denied a “bead implant” type of chemo.  but he has appealed the insurance company’s decision for denial.    Please pray for favor withthe new chemo andstrength and comfort for him and his family. 

 Hey team, please pray for a friend who had to have a total hip replacement yesterday.  She is in ICU because she lost too much blood.  Please pray that the surgery was a success and for complete healing and no more pain.

6/28/09 Team we have several prayer requests.  Pray for the Morvick family who lost their 28 year old son Tom in a boating accident last week.  Pray for peace andstrengthto get through this terrible time.  Pray for his mom, dad, sister andtwinbrother.  Pray for a baby boy who was born 13 weeks early.  He is breathing on his own, but is so very tiny.  Pray for the family that they put all their faithin God to help this little one andgive them strength.  Pray for Deb’s son Chris that God helps him choose the right job; one that he wants because the one he has now doesn’t pay much but he has insurance.  Pray that he will choose the direction that God wants him to go andfor the weight to be lifted from his shoulders, give him guidance, peace andserenity andGod’s grace be withhim.  Pray for Deb.  Her income ends in July, pray that God gives her strengthtostaysteadfast in her faith, help her deal with the insurance company and lawyers.

Pray for everyone that has whatever to be lifted up in prayer.  It seems we all need to be lifted up right now, so lets pray for each other.  God knows what we all need and will hear our prayers.
