Blessing of the Bikes 2010:  Our 5th annual Blessing of the bikes will be April 25.  Our Sunday morning gathering will be held at 10am at the Gibraltar Trade Venter, followed by registration at 11am and the Blessing at 2pm.

Serving Opportunities

Volunteers Needed:  Monday at 9am we need five volunteers to help empty out and refill the pantries at the Community Cafe.

Mission Trip:  April 3-10 we will be heading back to new Orleans.  If you are interested in going, there is a signup sheet and registration ackets on the tabel in the hallway.  Cost is $200.  Sign up deadline is TODAY, March 14th.  Contact Linda for more details at 586-713-6326.

Community Cafe Volunteers:  We need MANY volunteers to help operate our Community Cafe.  If you are interested in volunteering in the Cafe once we open to the public, there is a sign-up sheet on the table in the hallway.

Blessing of the Bikes Planning Meeting:  March 28th at 2pm at the Community Cafe.  If you would like to help serve at the Blessing of the Bikes please attend this meeting.

Donations for Blessing of the Bikes:  We are starting to collect donations for giveaways at the 5th Annual Blessing of the Bikes.  If you are getting donations, please get a business card from the donor and bring the card and donation to our Sunday gatherings so we can start creating a thank you flyer.

Feeding the Homeless

The Well(on Gratiot north of Hall Road):  Thursday, March 18th we are serving those in need within our own community.  Come anytime between 3-8pm to help cook and serve.

My Brother’s Keeper:  Tuesday, April 6th we will be serving the homeless in downtonw Detroit.  Meet us at the Community Cafe by 5:30PM.

Connections ~ Life is better Together

Celebrate Recovery:  The group is open to anyone looking for support and freedom from hurts, hang-ups, and habits.  We meet Tuesday nights at 7:30 pm at the Community Cafe.  Contact Deb for more details at 586747-5054.

Weekly Bible Study:  Wednesday nights at 7pm at the Community Cafe.
