CD’s are available of today’s gathering for $1.00.  There is a sign-up sheet located on the table in the back of the auditorium.

Warehouse Space:  We have warehouse space to store household goods, furniture, food, etc. for distribution to those in need.  Contact Chris if you have items to donate.

North Shore Happenings

Chesterfield Relay for Life Bowling Fundraiser:  February 27th at 9pm at Total Sport (I-94 & North River Road in Mt. Clemens).  3 games of bowling and all you can eat pizza and pop for $20.  All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.  Contact Melissa for more information at 810-523-9894.

Blessing of The Bikes:  February 21st at 2pm there will be a planning meeting for the Blessing of the Bikes located at the Community Cafe.

Men’s Breakfast:  Join us Saturday, February 20th at 8am for a breakfast and fellowship at the Community Cafe.

Serving Opportunities 

Community Neighbor to Neighbor:  February 27th we will be having a community wide N2N food giveaway with our local churches.  If you know of someone or you are in need of food, there is a sign-up sheet on the table in the hallway.  The event will take place at 6520nBethuy Rd in Fair Haven.  This is located on the west side of the street between M29 and 26 Mile Road.

Hats, Gloves, Socks:  Winter is here!  Over the next couple of months we will be collecting hats, gloves and socks for the homeless and those in need in our community. 

Feeding the Homeless

The Well (on Gratiot north of Hall Rd):  Thursday, February 18th we are serving those in need within our own community.  Come anytime between 3-8 pm to help cook and serve.

My Brother’s Keeper:  Tuesday, March 2nd we will be serving the homeless in downtown Detroit.  Meet us at the Community Cafe by 5:30 pm.

Connections  Life is better Together

Celebrate Recovery:  The group is open to anyone looking for support and freedom from hurts, hang-ups, and habits.  We meet Tuesday nights at 7:30 pm at the Community Cafe.  Contact Deb for more details at 586-747-5054.

Weekly Bible Study:  Wednesday nights at 7pm at the Community Cafe.

Praise Team Practice:  Thursday nights the team has band practice.
