This morning as I was reading I came across this thought written by john Wesley-

“We give God our heart when we not only seek but find happiness in him. This happiness undoubtedly begins when we we begin to know him by the teaching of his own Spirit; when it pleases the Father to reveal his Son in our hearts, so that we can humbly say, ‘my Lord and my God’…”

Jesus tells us that His words are-

John 6:63-64
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. 64 Yet there are some of you who do not believe.”

Are you allowing the Word and the Spirit to teach you- and bring you into full life? Full happiness?
