After a week of meetings and the hustle and bustle of a crazy schedule- it so good to just have breakfast with the men of North Shore and talk about life! We ate and laughed and dreamed together and just hung out. I challenged the guys with this one question, “Where are the men of God”. So often the Manly thing to do is allow the wife to spiritually train the children, and this sends a distinct message. Jesus isn’t manly. The way I read scripture- Jesus was a man’s man, but when he is taught from the knee of your mother- Jesus receives a very heavy feminine edge. I do not write this to discourage mom’s and grandma’s from teaching and sharing the Scriptures with their children. I simply write this to ask the question, “Where are the men of God”.
