We opened the Community Cafe on Friday the 25th. It was fun!
It was supposed to be a soft or quiet opening but we packed the house. We were a bit overwhelmed for a good 2 hours but considering that most of the volunteers have never done something this extensive, it was great!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who has put a hand, a prayer, a thought into the opening of this place from 2 years ago until now.
We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 2pm.
We still need volunteers! If you signed up to volunteer but have not yet come or don’t think we need you or don’t have time now but may in the future, please contact Janine. Those people who are giving their time are there 5 days a week and we will get burned out soon. If you can lend a hand at all for ANY amount of time, please contact Janine at fivenikkels@yahoo.com. I will work you into the schedule. We are in need of help for next week already! Please come get trained so even if you can only help once a week or once a month, we can use you as back up.
