Blessing Thank You Letters:  If you gathered donations for our 2009 blessing of the bikes there are thank you letters on the table in the hallway to be delivered to each donor.  If you did not pick them up from the table, contact Linda or Jan.

Serving Opportunities

Mission Trip Team Meeting:  July 5th at 6:00 pm we will be having a mandatory meeting at the Community Cafe for all those participating in the New Orleans Mission Trip on July 11th to the 18th.

Bike Ride:  Sunday, July 12 at 1pm at Rock Community Church.  They will be hosting a Poker Run to raise money for a Honduras Mission.  Pick up a flier on the table in the hallway for more information.

Feeding the Homeless

The Well (Gratiot north of Hall Road):  Monday, June 29th we are serving those in need within our own community.  Come anytime between 3-8 pm to help cook and serve.

My Brother’s Keeper:  Tuesday, July 7th we will be serving the homeless downtown Detroit.  Meet us at the Community Cafe by 5:30 pm.

 Small Groups

Financial Peace University:  Monday nights at 7:00 pm at the Community Cafe.  This next Sunday (June 29th) is the last day for this session.  Stay tuned for more sessions to be scheduled for the fall.

Celebrate Recovery:  The group is open to anyone looking for support and freedom from hurts, hang-ups and habits.  We meet Tuesday nights at 7:30 pm at the Community Cafe.  contact Deb for details at 586-948-9969.

Weekly Bible Study:  Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm at the Community Cafe.

On Sunday, Pastor Chris had a sign up sheet for those who are unemployed to get low or no cost food from Gleaners.  A few weeks back I posted a notice about Angel Food Ministries.  This is a website where you can buy a box of food that is nutritious and good (not seconds or expired) at very low cost.  Here is what I posted then:
